Community Concert Bands have existed in Huntsville, Alabama since the 1800s and the Huntsville Concert Band is proud to continue this time-honored tradition.

Founded in 1963, the charter of the HCB is to provide its members with a vehicle for musical expression and to present concert band entertainment in the Tennessee Valley. The Huntsville Concert Band is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and is a participating member of The Arts Council.
