Per her request no services will be held and burial will be in Buckhannon. She married Robert Hinkle '56 who survives her. FESTIVAL FRIDAYSFriday, June 8th Now that work is near completion at Jawbone Park just in time for the Strawberry Festival, it's time to start getting ready for the weekly family entertainment and fun that will take place every Friday evening at Jawbone Park starting on Friday, June 8th! Watch for additional details to be posted in a couple of days here and on www.UpshurPortal.com. Classic Wheels Car Club Cruise In July 27th & 28th 
On Friday, July 27th from 6 to 11 pm, come down to Buckhannon's Main Street for a "Blast From the Past" as classic hot rods from all over the state and perhaps beyond cruse in to downtown Buckhannon for the weekend!Then from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, watch for these classic cars cruising through our community and out to the Wildlife Center for lunch then back to downtown for a car show and street party from 4 to 11 pm. I've been living in Greece, a suburb of Rochester, NY since 1981. I am married to my best friend Diane, 32 years this year. I'm still at the same company that I've worked for since 1978, Horizon Solutions LLC, most recently for the Content and Integration Services Team of the Information Technology Dept. The company is a mid-sized distributor of automation, electrical, industrial, safety, and material handling supplies, with locations from Bangor, Maine to Rochester, NY. We have no children, but instead have four cats that we really enjoy. For relaxation we enjoy traveling, going out to dinner, digital photography, music, reading, Bible study, and camping. We like spending time with friends and family and making the most of the simpler things in life. I currently work in the oil and gas industry as a title abstractor and do alternative modeling as a side project.

I have lived in Fairfax, Virginia since 1985, moving here after living 13 years in Hurricane, WV. I just retired after 25 years of working for the Fairfax County Government(15 as administrative assistant for the Sheriff and 10 as administrative assistant for the Clerk of the Court). I have four daughters and four grandchildren. My oldest daughter lives in Melbourne, FL with her husband and nine-year old daughter, Kayla. My second daughter, and her two children (9 year old Abigail and 7 year old Wyatt) live in Winchester, VA. My third daughter lives in Falls Church, VA. My youngest daughter and her 13 year old son, Alexis, live with me. I retired in 2010.

Since graduating in 1970, I've served in the U.S. Air Force. June 70 through March 1974, Worked in construction, Oil Fields, Trucking industry, and have been with the Postal Service since June 1987. Served as the Disabled American Veterans, Department of West Virginia Commander, 2001-2003. Active in veterans organizations, and union groups.I Now own the farm where I was born and grew up, I am in the process of cleaning up the farm, with the intention of building a cabin and retiring up there next year, Been a good ride, but it is now time to sit on the porch and do what I want and when and if I want. RETIRED April 30 2012. It is off to the hills of southern Upshur County and northern Webster Co.
