The Pacific

The 11th was the only Airborne Division to serve in the Pacific

the Rock
The 503 rd Prcht Inf. made its
first jump Sept. 5, 1943  at
Nadzad, New Guinea.
Cutting off 20,000 Japs.

It gave the 503rd its Nickname the
