Made Free Fall on 7-24-99 at Crestview Fl. Jumped from twin engine Otter
at 14000 ft. pulled at approx. 5000 ft.
1956
2000

OK, OK , so I've changed a "LITTLE" but the nose looks the same!!
The guys who jumped with me were: on my right Tracy
Hickman, a Ranger on Active duty, the Guy on my left is Bob
Holler, a Paramedic on active duty and the Guy making the Video
and taking the pictures is James Jones. James is in the Airforce, still on active duty with 14 years service he also goes by CJ.
CJ & CJ Yeah I know it's hard to tell us apart
Guys you would have been proud to see the respect they afford me,
not
for anything I did, but just for being a Paratrooper of the 50's,
but what I really like was all those young girls hugging me and kissing
my bald head , haha
Guys-- eat your heart out !!!
Note, Italians talk with hands regardless of the place, conditions
or lighting
| CJ says, "Man, did you see the body
position I had on the exit"
Bob says " CJ, suck in your gut I can't
see the other Jumper"
Tracy says "CJ, on the next jump we
are going to have to use sand bags on the side opposite from you. When you jumped the ,
plane almost turned over" |
 |
 |
CJ Yells to the Cameraman, "How do
you like this great body position
Cameraman " Only Laughs"
Bob says, " CJ, quit screwing around
it almost lunch time"
Tracy says, "Bob, I believe his jump suit is starting to tear at the waist" |
| CJ says " Wasn't I supposed to pull
some thing about now ??
Tracy says " Bob , guess it true about these old Troopers, their
memory is the second thing to go"
Bob says "Yeah, sad isn't it !! " |
 |
 |
CJ yells to cameraman, "Where
did every one go?"
Cameraman yells back " To Lunch , they
said, since you had already signed the release form you're on your own
!! |
Damnit, I missed a Standing Landing by Just
that "--" Much!!
Ps, I returned and made 4 additional jumps in 2000 they were great but not as exciting as the first.
