06/15/2005: "St. Jude Children's Research Hospital"
This is not in any way an effort to undermine the hard work of Singapore's team. However, I was so sad to know that they could not even get the MRI in Surabaya. That's why I just searched the Internet and finally got in touch with the referal office of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
These are among others what I have learned from St. Jude side:
1. St. Jude would only receive patient that has never been treated before.
2. Only doctors can refer a patient to St. Jude.
Since I'm not a physician, I could only forward this info to Dr. Goh in Singapore and Dr. Dany in Sumba as well as the doctors in Surabaya.
St. Jude is willing to offer a second opinion on what can the doctor do over there. They were so kind and they gave me the contact person and phone numbers. I will forward this info to Singapore as well as Rev. Hani to give it to the doctors there.
Once again, I'm not trying to step over someone's toes. I just tried to help. Memphis is 5 hours away from my home and it's easy for me to call them from here than to get someone to call them from Singapore for example.
