06/02/2005: "Let's help Lukas Mbira"

I have spent few hours trying to set up a website to disseminate the information concerning the struggle of Lukas Mbira's family to get rid of the 5.0 kg tumor that covers his neck. Since the first time I read the news about Lukas in Pos Kupang, I have made a lot of phone calls, mostly International calls to Kupang - Timor in Indonesia, to Singapore as well as to Waingapu - Sumba, Indonesia. I would like to have this blog to record all the info I got as well as to provide a place where people can write down their idea or suggestion on how to help Lukas.

This is my first entry, and I'm trying to familiarize myself with this blog software.

Creating this weblog to disseminate Lukas' story is really a wonderful idea.

Just like the creator of this weblog, I was also strucked when I read the story about Lukas at Kupang Pos Daily.

I would like to participate in helping Lukas thus I would be very happy if the medical experts or the Bethel Church in Waingapu could open bank account for Lukas so that people can eaisly tranfers their donations for helping Lukas.
