} bend, he set a bunch of weeds on fire to one side and had us look at
} the shadows we cast on the opposite wall.  Then, as the smoke spread,
} he started making some wild observations about how the shadows might
} be truer than the real world.  I seem to have forgotten the details
} beyond that, but man, what a trip!
