Leo Larkin is a country musician and recognized on the national level as a music evangelist in the United Methodist Church, having performed at the Opryland Hotel. She also plays guitar and has recorded two albums with her son, guitarist Shane Atkins.
Bob Larkin is a classical violinist, and was concertmaster and assistant conductor of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra for 15 years. At 19, he played with the San Diego Philharmonic and has been a member of such orchestras as the Mobile Symphony, the Fairfax (VA) Symphony, and the Potomac (MD) Symphony. He has played in orchestras backing performers of such well-known stars as Mitzi Gaynor, Red Skelton, Bobby Vinton and Tony Bennett.
Shane Adkins is a multi-talented musician who plays guitar in a variety of styles, including those of Merle Travis, Chet Atkins and Doc Watson. He is also proficient on piano and steel guitar, and is a published songwriter. Shane collaborated with Leo on her albums.
Leo and Bob are enjoying the challenge of combining their different styles of musical talent and, with Shane, provide programs of toe-tapping tunes, harmonious hymns and memorable melodies for dinners, corporate receptions, weddings and other special occasions.
