As usual Alabama does things different to most states. One not being too clear about any subject.
The Alabama laws states.
All vessels must be equipped with prescribed navigation lights when operated at night in accordance with the Boating Safety Laws.
Since the Tennessee River is considered a navigable body of water you must comply with the US Coast Guard.
I may b wrong, but I think the law says ,,, "Must be visable 360 degrees",
This is true if you have anything like a pedestal seat blocking the view then it is not legal must be displayed 360 degrees.
