SURFACE TEMP: 69am - 76 pm
WATER CLARITY: Most places a little dingy but fishable
LAKE LEVEL: 506.9
CRAPPIE: Scattered. Trying to spawn.Catch them around and under docks throwing floats with minnows or jigs at the bank.Shallow
brush.Any visible structure. Our best color of jig is bubble gum.Butch fished Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.Average keeper day was
32 but we do not keep 9 inch fish.
BASS:They are feeding up fixing to spawn.Spinnerbaits Chartreuse in color.A lot of fish still out on the old river channel.Mouths of
coves, around boat docks and structure.Along with a pig-n-jig we like a Rat'l Trap.Basically they are pretty shallow but reasonably
STRIPE: Some stripes being taken out of the tailwater.Other than that, that is about all I can tell you about stripe.
WHITE BASS: Late in the afternoon have seen some good surfaces just above and below the old iron ferry pole.Couple of a hundred
yards before you get to the dam.In with the white bass there are some spots.
BREAM: Huge numbers of bream being taken on Guntersville. They are shallow and the beds are visible. Some females starting to
show up.Best bait is wax worms.
