been a long time since I installed one but some considerations:
I would try to put the transducer for the console depth finder in the boat floor in front of the seats. usually an opening for the floor drain gives accessibility there. the reason for this is to give the boat operator a little reaction time in shallow water to read the depth finder and possibly avoid an underwater obstruction. Lowrance for one has the needed material to adhere the transducer to the boat floor. the front transducer can be mounted to the trolling motor. the wiring can be run up the shaft. the only consideration is to allow the wire enough slack to compensate for the turning of the trolling motor foot. otherwise do a looksee with everything in place for the front mounted depth finder to be sure it meets your eye as you sit in the front seat or standup or whatever. Mostly these installations use common sense. Good luck.
