NIGHTTIME IS THE RIGHT TIME FOR SMITH LAKE. MY DAD AND I FISHED SMITH SATURDAY NIGHT/SUNDAY MORNING. FISHING FROM TEN PM TO 4 AM, WE BOATED SEVERAL STRIPE 7 OVERS AND 3 CRAPPIE. WE FISHED FROM DUNCAN BRIDGE TO BRUSHY CREEK. WE FISHED APPROXIMATELY 20 LIGHTED DOCKS. MOST OF THE BASS AND CRAPPIE WERE CAUGHT IN 11 TO 13 FEET OF WATER. THE STRIPE WERE CAUGHT IN 18 TO 20 FEET OF WATER. MOST OF OF THESE FISH WERE SUSPENDED UNDER THE LIGHTS. WE USED LIVE SHINERS ON 6 LB TEST CLEAR LINE. BIG FISH OF THE NIGHT WAS AN 8 LB 4 OZ SALTWATER. I REALLY ENJOYED THE TIME ON THE WATER WITH MY DAD. I WILL BE GOING BACK THURSDAY NIGHT AND WILL POST A REPORT IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED. THANKS TO KERRY FOR A GREAT FISHING FORUM. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. THANKS, SHAWN T.
