Last year at about that time I cleaned them out with a chart. curly tail grub(on Cedar), they were unusually shallow. Everyone elso was fishing out deep and not doing any good and I was fishing 4-6ft. and wearing them out. They would not move up until the afternoon, but I was going in there at about 2:30 and catching a limit before dark. I tried minnows and jigs, but they only wanted chart. grubs and some bit a 200 series khaki Bandit. People have put out brush in the sloughs on Cedar and marked it my putting a little piece of ribbon on a tree up on the bank. Go in the sloughs and look for these ribbons and about 10-15 ft. off the bank there will be a brush pile.
