Snapperking,

My biggest fish Saturday was approx. 16 1/2 inches long. My brother-in-law was fishing beside me in his boat most of the day, and I saw him catch a 19 incher. It was a nice one. We caught some small ones also, we always do. I'm just waiting for the time when the keeper/non-keeper ratio gets alot better. I have always done alot better in Feburary myself. Only problem is, and it's actually a blessing, my wife is due with a baby boy on Feb. 11. In fact, she loves to catch them herself, so I am taking her Monday. It could be the last trip for me until after she delivers. I think maybe this year has been a little down is because of the ever changing water levels, until now. It should be good fishing from now on out, unless we have a big shad kill or alot of rain. Jason
