from what I understand the fish carry the eggs until the water temperatures reach spawning levels. This has been my observation also. Jacks do the same thing. The big ones that are few and far between on Wilson this year carry them. Glad to hear of someone having success catching some good crappie.
This is just my opinion!
Could someone tell me their opinion of crappie spawning temps? I have hear anywhere from 60 to 67???????
