WC, you will be right in the middle of some prime bass country. The Coosa River runs through downtown Gadsden and is an excellent bass fishing area. If you can get the use of a boat, that would be the best place to fish, if not, look for small private lakes in your area. Something else to keep in mind. Downsize you lures this time of year. One of my favorite and most productive lures this time of year is a 1/8 oz. lead head jig with either a 2 1/2 or 3 inch Sassy Shad. Work it very close to the bottom, very slow. These Alabama fish know when it gets cold weather also.
