Well, I went to Decatur yesturday and finally got a limit of crappie. So far this year the crappie on Guntersville have been slow. I have caught alot of crappie on The big "G" this year but most of them have been small. Kerry and I have been spoiled on Guntersville over the last couple of years but this year has been a bust! Anyway, got all my crappie trolling in 7 to 10 feet of water. The only color I could get them to hit is a bright green crappie slider. I fished a 1/16 oz jig head and trolled very slow, just enough to keep it off the bottom. I did catch alot of none keepers. Got on the water at 5:45 and it took me till 1:45 to limit. I guess I caught over a 100 crappie but culled down to 30. Had one fish that weighed 2 pounds 1 oz. The rest were .5 to 3/4. Did have 5 or 6 right at a pound. All I can say is find an area that has 7 to 10 feet of water and fish real slow! Good luck and please wear those life jackets! Merry Christmas to all!
