For the money you can't beat a Garmin 240 -- sidefinder is not an option though. To get similar performance from Humminbird or Lowrance you'll have to fork out many more dollars. I bought one several months ago and I'm thinking about getting another one for the front of the boat so I could throw away my trolling motor mounted Bottom Line. There's my 2 cents worth.
