I live and fish in Georgia except for an occasional trip to Lake Weiss in the spring. I fish Lake Allatoona which has very little cover due to the way they built the lake (bulldozed and burned) when built. There are some Christmas trees shallow and the usual marina tires and docks. No problem catching them in the spring, but very tough in Summer and Winter. I have only one spot that I can usally catch 6-12 good ones most of the year- wood on a drop-off near deep water just inside the mouth of a creek. I agree with you that finding them is 95% of catching them. Can you share any advice on where to catch 'em during summer and winter in a lake like Allatoona? I appreciate the info that you share with all of us .
