BELIEVE IT OR NOT, FISHING AT NIGHT UNDER DOCK LIGHTS THIS TIME OF YEAR IS PRETTY SPECIAL. THE BUTLER BRANCH AREA IS A GOOD LOCATION TO START. I USE LIVE SHINERS ON SIX POUND TEST LINE WITH NO WEIGHT. PITCH THE MINNOW UNDER THE LIGHTS AND WATCH YOUR LINE FOR MOVEMENT. I ALSO FISH THE SHINERS ON A C-RIG WITH A 5 FOOT LEADER WITH A BEAD AND A QUARTER OUNCE WEIGHT. FISH THE C-RIG IN BRUSH PILES UNDER THE LIGHTS IN 20 TO 28 FEET OF WATER. SPOTS, LARGEMOUTH, STRIPERS, AND CRAPPIE WILL USUALLY FALL FOR THESE METHODS. IF YOU DISLIKE THE THOUGHT OF FISHING AT NIGHT, TRY FISHING BRIDGE PILINGS WITH LIGHT LINE USING MINNOWS OR SMALL FINESE WORMS IN NATURAL COLORS. I USE THESE METHODS ON PICKWICK AND BAY SPRINGS AS WELL. MAYBE THIS INFO WILL ASSIST YOU ON YOUR NEXT TRIP TO THE DEAD SEA. GOOD LUCK, SHAWN TIDWELL, GUIN, AL.
