Fished Flint Creek today from about 1pm until 4pm. Only managed 5 keepers. The few decent fish (3 of them went about 1 to 1.25 pounds) were caught on 16th oz jig/crystal shad bass assassin vertical jigging in tree tops and laydowns. Fish were very scattered. I only picked up 2 keepers out of the same spot, the other three took more time and effort. I tried several other techniques, but vertical jigging was the only method that produced keepers.
While I was trying those other techniques I caught a few crappie that were "legal", but they were really skinny white crappie and would not have made decent filets. The rest were simply midgets.
Good luck and good fishin'
