I live in oklahoma and netting is outlawed in most places but I don't think of people to highly for trying to stop a way of life for some people. the next thing you will be trying to outlaw trotlineing and that is something I have done since I was 8 years old. I use to net before it was outlawed here and I just went after carp, bufflo, gar and catfish. but what gets me is peole like you find someones net or trotline and run it then cut it. I have sunk bass boats for that reason. when you get someone running your lines and cutting them you have that right. it takes at least 5 days of tieing to make trotlines and the hook are not cheap ether and to tie a net takes 5 to 6 weeks so think about that the next you see someone running a net or trotline. If he is illegal with his fishing take the boat number and give it to the gamewarden.
