Fished Wheeler yesterday and got covered in rain and willow flies. Fish were hitting good until the rain stopped and the sun came out. Caught between 50 and 60 with only 25 keepers. Caught a few early on a fly rod and a popping bug but quit when the rain really started coming down. Tryed crickets but only caught a few. Most of the fish came on a very small beetle spin. Caught several bass and stripe also. Water temp was 82-84 degrees and fish were caught in 0-3 ft. of water. Several fish were full of eggs and the males showed signs of bedding. I know it's kind of late in the year for spawning but I've always heard that the bream return to the beds on full moons.
