Had some spare time and decided to go to Decatur. Fish
are everywhere. Caught most fish on black&blue jig. Finley Island is hot right now, both on the upper end and lower end. Caralina rigs and black and blue jigs
are doing well right now in these areas. As always, if current is present, you are going to have a great day! Other areas are the flats back in swan creek and Buella bay (spelling?). Round Island creek is not producing alot of fish but quality is there also. Down river, Poplar creek and coxy are good when current is present. Tried throwing crank baits and caught fish but all were dinks! The flats down from the railroad trussel are picking up, but these areas really depend on current flow. The grass in Decatur has improved. Starting to top out in some places. All in all, a great day. Caught 17 bass. Best five 16 lbs. If eveything goes well, plan on fishing the next Tuesday night tournament. Thanks Mark for taking time to post the results of the tuesday night'er's. Good luck and wear those life jackets!
