I started seeing some on the Hwy 31 causeway yesterday afternoon, but wasn't sure if it would turn into a major hatch or not.

Went out this morning in the boat from the sewage plant ramp in Decatur. Although this is not the biggest hatch I have ever seen, it is wide spread so I would call it a major hatch. Unfortunately, I didn't find many places where the fish were really turning on around the flies. Maybe this afternoon will be better.

I caught several small white bass and stripe, a couple of small lmb's and lots of small bluegill. All on popping bugs and artificial willowfly using a fly rod.

Good luck and good fishin'

Kerry
