Yea Steve sounds good.Lighter is defintely better as those darn tanks are really hard to move around.Lately the shad I`ve been gettin at Speegles I have just been buying only 1-1/2 doz and just putting them in a cut off 55gal tnak nearly cut 3/4 way down.I`m not even using an aerator while on my pier and just keeping my h2o dipped out and changed with fresh lake h2o-as long as temp stays cool they will survive remarkably longer.Keep trying and you will get a system that works for you.Use care while handling them(use dip net)as when they lose those slimy scales they whill die quickly as well. Not catching many right now but doing more crappie/bass fishing under lites as they are stacked up coming off bed-Good luck, post f/u I will follow
