Stephen and I visited my folks this weekend and I did a little bank fishing while we were there. I was hoping to find some bedding bream, but all I found were white bass and stripe. Fished the barge harbor near O'neal bridge and the mouth of Cypress creek.

None of the fish I caught were very big, but most were filet size. Stripe/white bass hit 3 inch (chartreuse or green) curly tail jigs best, but also took rooster tails and various other jigs including "sassy shad", a "little george" and bass assassins. Early morning hit was best. I saw one fairly nice sauger caught also.

Good luck and good fishin'

Kerry
