Hey Kerry, here are the rules listed in the flyer. 15% goes back to the expenses of running the event. Weigh-in bags, flyers, insurance, etc. etc. The shellcracker and bream are shallow, we had them pecking pieces off of lizards all day long while bass fishing, and caught some on crankbaits fishing for bass. Good luck to those who get to fish it.
Get the rules and entries at Water Front Grocery/Tackle on 79 between Scottsboro and Guntersville. Call them at 256-582-6060
Must register in prson at Waterfront from 3am to 5:30am on Sat. Weigh-in is at 2pm.
No fishing within 50 yards of a boat first anchroed with trolling motor up.
Live jackets must be on and zipped when combustion engine is on, and kill switch must be worn by driver.
One pound penalty for each minute late
Starting position determined by ordeer of registration
No Alcohol or drugs
15 fish limit - Only bluegill and shellcracker
May fish from bank, boat or wade,
Must fish in Lake Guntersville
Only 2 people per team
Payout is 1 in 8 entries, 85% payback with 15% expenses.
No iced down fish allowed
Polygraph test may be adminstered.
