I love Neely Henry. Normally I ride down below the 77 bridge and fish, but it's a ride from the City Park. I like the ledges just below the City Park, ledges just below any of the islands that create a current break are good, and have lots of stumps on them. Crankbaits and spinnerbaits are the deal on the ledges for me. Buzzbaits and spinnerbaits around the shoreline grass in the pockets and sloughs below the city ramp are also good, especially in Big Wills creek. A crankbait or jig on the docks in Big Wills also work great. The rip-rap just above the City Park produces some big strings of spots on crankbaits if the current is on. Be careful running, as there are a lot of shallow stumps when you get out of the channel.
