Hi all, I will be in a bowfishing tourney out of Seibold Campground on 4/27. I bowfished the lake one time and had good success around the campground, but that was just a recreational trip. The format for the tourney will be Biggest 20 fish instead of a numbers shoot. There is a limit of 5 on grassies. Can any of you point me in a good direction? Looking at a topo map, I have one particular area in mind, however it is shown as having underwater hazards. Since we will be moving around with a trolling motor, will this pose a problem? I live in Atlanta, so it isn't convient for me to scout, other than maybe one trip prior to the tourney. It is on the full moon in april, so perhaps the fish will be spawning? Any ideas where that may take place?
One other thing, there are several areas off limits: North Saulty, Goose Pond Park, Big Spring Creek, county park areas in scottsboro, northern arm of dry creek and crow creek.
Any help would be appreciated!
