I own a propellor repair shop and outboard motor repair. I weld on lower units that have cracked. due to water in the gear box. I also repair skegs and antiventilation plates. The stabilizers work on most motors regardless of the horse power. However they are better suited to larger units. I have had to repair several units on larger motors that use the stingrays because the holes are too close to the edge of the antiventilation plates. The Dolefins and hydrofoil work better on larger motors.
