There are several places you might try, but some of them don't have enough water this time of year.
The Hwy31 causeway and bridge (small bridge) is a good place to start. Tuffy minnows or work jigs under a cork. There are a couple of bridges on Hwy67 that have been known to produce a few crappie also. The pumps at Day Park can be a great place for crappie, but the water is probably too low right now.
No matter when or where you go don't hesitate to ask the other fishermen you see if they have been hitting, how deep, what time of day and on what bait. I haven't been on the bank for a little while, so I don't know where the best spot would be.
Good luck and good fishin'
