Later on about late March or April you can start to find some great shellcracker and bream fishing on flyrod around the Goosepond area. Look for water from 2 to 6 feet deep during this time when they are spawning. After that look for the mayflies to hatch about the first of June. The fish may not be as big, but the action will be fast and furious! Just find a good hatch of mayflies and start casting.
I have had good luck with popping bugs, Keystone minnows, artificial willow flies, tiny feather jigs, etc.
