According to the TVA web site The G-ville Dam will have some flood gates "spilling" both tomorrow and Saturday for part or at least part of the day. I couldn't get a straight answer from TVA when I called. They tend to be very vague with any info they give out since 9-11. If they are spilling water you should try in the "dry lock" which is the one in the middle that is not used anymore. Use a orange or chartreuse jig with a 3" grub(blue or chartreuse) tipped with a tuffy minnnow. Also try along the edge of the channel just off the north bank with the same rig. I use jigs from 1/8 oz up to 3/4 oz depending on the current. Try to stay just out of the main current as much as posible or in other words in the eddy water. I caught several spotted bass today on crankbaits in shad colors from 12-18 feet deep. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
