Fish under bridges with crickets. I have seen some fairly impressive sizes in past weeks and sometimes have to move while fishing for crappie using live minnows to keep the bait snatchers off the hook. If you are catching small bream, I recommend that you move to a different location since some areas have been producing only small bream. I never really knew bream would bite so well in the fall, but I have seen some people wear them out in the past month. On some days I catch more hand-sized bream than crappie using minnows, but I still recommend crickets and have seen some guys back that up while fishing nearby.
