My son an I are looking into coming up from Calhoun County to try our luck (that's all we have and it's in short supply) at smallmouth fishing.
#1 Is fishing better above or below Wheeler or would somewhere else be better to start?
#2 Somewhere around 12/20/01 is the first chance we'll get. Is that too early/late?
#3 How would you recommend starting? Shad, jigs, etc. And how should we rig?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
