I am interested in sauger fishing below the Guntersville Dam. I would like some pointers for fishing from the bank on the lock side of the dam (north side). Is it best to fish along the lock wall, or further downstream? Is the jig and minnow the best technique? If so, what color/weight would be suggested?
Also, what method of presentation works best?
I fish most at Scottsboro around N. Sauty and don't know too much about fishing "big" water. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
P.S. I just recently stumbled onto this site and really enjoy reading it. I check it every day from my workplace computer. The information here is timely...,and best of all, free! Good luck!
