Kerry, it must be nice to fish six day's a week or was it seven? I'd be as happy as pig in mud if I could do that! Congradulations on some fine catches last week. I just wanted to comment on that behemoth bass that got after that crappie. I'm mainly a bass fisherman except for a few trips a year that I make with a panfisherman buddy of mine. On one trip a couple of years ago we were catching shellcrackers on a bed in shallow water when my buddy set the hook on a nice "cracker", he cranked the reel a few times and a nice bass (5 or 6 lbs.) inhaled it. He had both on for a few more cranks then the bass let go. The water was super clear and we both got a great look at it all. I'll never forget that trip. The G'ville record bass is 14.84lb. I've suspected there may be bigger in there, thanks for giving me hope of finding that new record.
