This is one of the more active times of year for bass. I don't slow down or go deep until the water drops below 45 degrees. Water temps are still in the 60s now during the warmer part of the day. Shallow is still the deal, and small crankbaits in both shad and bream colors worked fast around bank cover such as docks or wood are working well for me now. Small spinnerbaits are also producing for me most days, especially on windy banks or where there is some water color. 2 to 8 feet seems to be the best depth. Some fish are deep, and some are hitting slow baits, but I like to crank them this time of year. Wilson has been especially good lately with the small cranks. Good luck.
