The smallie fishing has been a little slow for me in the tail races, but I'm getting a few there. The bigger smallies are coming in the slack water below the spillways. Numbers are also good down river on points, deep docks and sea walls, but not much in the way of size down there for me the last few trips. Thredfin are easy to get now in Town Creek in front of Double Head, or in the back of McKiernan creek. Schools can also be netted in open water or in most of the small pockets during the later part of the day. Stripe by the grunt load in the tail races! Good luck. T.
