It has been awhile since I posted so here goes. Been fishing Guntersville
for about 3 weeks now and have done fairly well. Limited every trip except
for 2. Size has not been that great but with water temperatures rising, this
is to be expected. Water temperature in Guntersville right now is 70F. Up 5
degrees from last week. After this front comes through, fishing should really
pick up. Been catching most of my fish around feeders and near bridges. The
bite is early so this is a good tip! Hopefully this year will be as good as
last year. Time will tell. Been seeing alot of shad in deeper water and this
is the key. Like last year, my baits have been bassassassins in crystal shad
and also cotton candy tube jigs. I use 4 lb test when presenting these baits.
I will post next week and should have some GOOD news! Wear those life jackets
and good luck!
