I'm fishing the Bass Fishing Home Page Rally this weekend, but we'll be at the upper end of the lake at Goose Pond. I don't know how much experience you have fishing grassy lakes, but right now,as during most of the year, the grass is the key. Fish over the matted milfoil with rats, along the edges and scattered grass with buzzbaits, spinnerbaits and soft jerkbaits. If you can find some shallow grass close to a drop off so much the better. Don't be afraid to fish water 2-4 ft deep. My last trip to the lake was 2 weeks ago...rainy...good buzzbait bite(white). Lots more could be said, but I'm no expert. Even knowing productive tactics and areas you still have to hunt and work for the fish sometimes, and I find it tougher on those bluebird days. Go to Troy Jens' web page,www.anglingalabama.com for some better tips!
