How to filet a crappie - or most any fish

I found this link on another message board and thought it was worthy of posting here.

The only things that I do different from the article is that I use a VERY sharp (razor sharp) filet knife, not electric and I usually try to slip the knife between the ribs and the filet so I don't lose any more meat than necessary as they do by cutting out the rib cage the way they do as shown. This last part is a problem with dual bevel knifes, but if you can find a single bevel knife (only one side of the blade has the bevel), it is not as hard. Except for that small difference, this link gives you the fastest and best way to filet a fish!
