As soon as the water level gets back to normal after the flood a week or so ago things should pick up a bit. Try to catch some Yellowtails (threadfin shad) that aren't too large just below the turbines. Then rig them on a river rig or a carolina style rig and a large capacity reel spooled with at least 17 lb line bounced along the bottom. Hang on and keep your drag set loose. You can always tighten it up after the initial run the striper makes. Concentrate your fishing within 500 yards of the powerhouse. A few weeks ago small ones in the 4 to 9 pound range were hitting. Hopefully the larger fish will turn on soon. Good Luck!
