If the cost of an on-board is prohibitive, Walmart has a 12/24v 10amp portable for 55 bucks. The 12/24 selector switch allows you to charge the batteries in series by hooking to the outgoing neg/pos battery posts and leaving the series jumper cable connected. It's a Everstart Dual-Sport model WM-70MA. It has a meter instead of just a dummy light and the input amps trickle down as the battery loads up for a nice deep charge. It's fairly quick when i come in and i'm at about 50% it takes under 3 hours. It's not as nice as an on-board charger but i have more time than i have money and it works.
