I have been reading posts about hiring guides to prepare for T's and to learn the lake. I have always hesitated to hire a guide to find fishing holes thinking that they would write a full page posting about a-holes that fish their spots after guiding for them. I know I have heard people talk about the hundreds of miles of shoreline on G'ville, but I know that I can only catch fish in select areas year after year. What is the proper etiquette?
I know deep sea fishing is very different because mucho denaro is spend building reefs, but it would be easy to use a hand held GPS and record all the spots. I guess that might be a good way to get shot!?!?
I suppose I am only interested in freshwater etiquette from the guides that frequent this site. Would you care to show up and find me sitting on the honey holes where you took me yesterday? Do you take local boys to the least productive sites? ;)
