Hey Kerry--the heat's the reason why we fish down there after midnight!!! Much cooler then!!

As for the fly shop--he has some good flies that you really couldnt find anywhere else, but you definitely better bring the mortgage to your house because everything there is high dollar.

and to any new people who have not trout fished below the dam--dont listen to the purists--if you want to catch fish take powerbait or corn, especially if you are going to the catwalk side of the dam. You can catch them on artificials (roostertails, blue fox spinners, and small flies), but you just about have to hike in from the pump station to fish artificials effectively. I personally would rather catch fish than go fishing, so I am a "bait chunker," although true to Kerry's experience when they are generating i just go play on the lake instead.
