Well put ray... But I have only one quam with your post. In the B.A.I.T. program, most of these anglers have limited experience on Smith and the majority of anglers participating are used to fishing shallow waters, thinking a ledge that drops off into 25 or 30 ft of water is useless to fish. When they get out in that depth, they start running back for the bank, throwing their 17 to 20 lb test and wonder where all the fish are. Smith is a lake where you are required to put in more effort to gain results. The fish are there, and they do bite, but staying in 10 to 15 feet of water will only net you "unders" most of the year. And grass in Smith lake is almost non existant, except for some that falls out of low flying airplanes at night.
