Although it is possible that we still have muskies, I seriously doubt the likelyhood that you will have any luck catching one. Since the advent of nuclear power plants, which have caused the flow of the Tennessee river to be, at best, inconsistent, the fishing has become quite a bit slower. The only info on musky that I know of is the state record for Muskellunge

Although I think I caught a walleye or two back in the 70's, I don't think I have caught or seen caught a walleye in the last 20 or better years, let alone a musky. Of course, identification may be the culprit as far as the walleye catch goes. Most folks will have a hard time, when catching lots of sauger, identifying a true Walleye from a sauger... (smile)
