I have a question about the piers that have been placed next to some TVA launch ramps, particularly the one at Round Island. Upon returning to the ramp the other day to retrieve my boat, there were three folks fishing from the end of the pier between the ramps on the east side of the parking lot. They had their lines radiating out from the end of the pier. There happened to be fellow launching when we arrived. The guys fishing made no move to accomodate the guy launching and surely saw me approaching the ramp, but made no move to bring in their lines or make room for us to get to the pier to get out.
My question is, are these fishing piers or are they there to accomodate boat lauching/retrieveing? If they are for boats, apparently some people don't know, or care.
